Best prediction football for Tottenham Hotspur vs Crystal Palace
Tottenham Hotspur face Crystal Palace in a Premier League 5th round match. The match will be played on Saturday 14 September at 15:00 UK at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham definitely did not start the season as expected, although in the first round they were able to beat newcomer Aston Villa 3-1 at home, but they still lost in the result to 73 minutes. The second round saw a 2-2 draw with the Manchester City champions, but this match was played at the door of The Lilywhites with the home side scoring more than 20 shots and the visitors scoring 2 goals with two accurate shots in the match. Logically, the poor performance also affected the results as in the third round Newcastle United won their away game in London with 1:0 and before the interruption of the championship Mauricio Pochettino managed to lead 2-0 against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium but failed to win the match who finished 2-2 and the Spurs finished 9th with only 5 points.
Crystal Palace earned a point in the first game of the season after a draw against Everton, and in the second they lost to newcomer Sheffield United 1-0 and again failed to score. For that reason, Old Trafford’s 2-1 victory over Manchester United was the biggest surprise in the Premier League third round with the visitors’ goal scorers being Jordan Ayew and Patrick van Aanholt in the 93rd minute. In their last match, they won against another rookie Aston Villa at their Selhurst Park 1-0 with a goal from Jordan Ayew, so Roy Hodgson, who had not scored in his first two games, is now in 4th place in the provisional standings with 7 points after four duels played.
It will be a very interesting match as Tottenham need wins if they want to finish in the top four this season but Crystal Palace have shown that they have no problem defeating each of the top Premier League teams. We should not forget that it is a London derby that makes it even more unpredictable, but I do not think that the Spurs will achieve an easy victory expecting to allow at least one goal in their neck.
Good luck with our best prediction football!
