Young Boys – CSKA Moscow football predictions review

Young Boys welcomes CSKA Moscow in the first playoff match between the two teams to join the Champions League teams. The match is on August 15th, at 19:45 at the Stade de Suez stadium in Bern.

For the Young Boys team, it is not new to play playoffs to join the Champions League, but so far they have failed to gain a place in the group stage. Since returning to European football in the 2003/04 season, they have played playoffs in three of their five SHL events, but they can not do the next step. Now they will have a difficult task once they face a team with much more experience in the race. Young Boys, however, imprinted Dynamo Kiev in the third preliminary round. They lost the first match to 1: 3 in Kiev, but on the rematch won 2: 0 with the second goal scored in the 90th minute.

CSKA Moscow started the season in Russia mid-July and they have won a lot of games. Since then, they have won four of their six home games. To reach this stage in the Champions League, the “Army” removed the Greek AEK Athens with a total score of 3: 0. CSKA demonstrated a very strong defense game and this would be their main weapon against their Swiss opponent. Guests are a regular participant in the group stage by participating in the last four seasons of the tournament and nine times in the 21st century. Last season they finished the bottom of their group for the fourth year, but will hope for a better performance this season.

Both teams have an offensive mood like Young Boys scored 13 goals in their last seven home games in the WS, but at the same time they made a hit in five of those matches. CSKA Moscow scored in ten of their last 14 games as a guest in the tournament, so we expect hits in both doors.
