Paris Saint Germain wait for Cristiano Ronaldo
In football, unthinkable sometimes happens. While a few days ago was unlikely to see Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid in the summer, it is not that absurd today. And Paris Saint-Germain is ready to take the big money to attract him, writes today’s authoritative French sports daily L’Equipe. The club, however, is not convinced that the Portuguese striker really wants to leave Real (Madrid), which at the moment puts such a transfer only in the sphere of imagination.
If Cristiano gave a clear sign of his intentions, then the French Grand would make real moves to attract him. Parisians were already close to his transfer five years ago, the newspaper notes.
As it is known, the Real Madrid superstar is being persecuted by the law in Spain for tax evasion in particularly large proportions. This amount is € 14.7 million and it was supposed to go into the treasury between 2011 and 2014. On July 31, Cristiano must appear in the courtroom before Judge Laura Gomez Ferrer. Bewitched by these revelations and not feeling the support of his employer in his conflict with the Spanish tax authorities, the Portuguese announced he wanted to leave Real and the country.
Shortly thereafter, media in his home country wrote that Ronaldo had asked his manager, Jorge Mendesh, to do his best to arrange for his transfer to his former Manchester United club.
